Why is the price showing in the wrong currency?

All our prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD). If you see a price in another currency, it's almost always your browser's auto-converter or a VPN getting in the way.

How to check

  1. At the bottom of the page, the currency selector should show CAD $.
  2. Turn off your VPN or switch Wi-Fi networks — a US-based VPN can make us look like a US site.
  3. In Chrome, disable auto-conversion extensions (Honey, etc.).
  4. Reload the page after each change.

Why prices can look different

  • Taxes (5% GST, 9.975% QST) are added at checkout, not on the product page. The final price ends up about 14.975% higher.
  • Gold and stones track the market. Prices are updated in store and online; the same item can cost a bit more from one week to the next.
  • Promo codes apply at checkout, not on the product page.

If the price really looks wrong

Rare but it happens (label error, old promo). Email us with a screenshot — we'll check and honour the displayed price if the mistake is on our side.
