For orders shipped outside Canada, customs duties and import taxes are the buyer's responsibility and are collected by the carrier on delivery. For US customers, jewellery is generally duty-free under USMCA when accompanied by a Canadian certificate of origin, which we include.
What to do
- At checkout, confirm your country and review the estimated shipping cost.
- Expect a separate invoice from the carrier (FedEx or Purolator International) for any duties and taxes due.
- US customers: most fine jewellery qualifies for duty-free treatment under USMCA.
- If duties seem incorrect, save the carrier invoice and contact us — we can help dispute it with the carrier.
