Quick answer
PayPal isn't currently one of our default checkout options on bjamil.com. If you reached a PayPal screen through a wallet button and it failed, please switch to credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, or Interac e-Transfer. For high-value orders, we can also send you a secure payment link by email.
Why PayPal might not work
- Currency conversion — your PayPal account may default to USD; our store charges in CAD
- Linked card declined — the card behind your PayPal wallet was refused for the same reasons listed in payment declined
- PayPal session expired — log out and back into PayPal, then retry
- Region restriction — some PayPal accounts can't transact with Canadian merchants without verification
What to try
- Refresh the checkout page and choose a different payment method.
- If you'd like to keep using PayPal, log into your PayPal account first, confirm your linked card is active, and try again.
- If it still fails, contact us — we'll send a secure payment link or set up Interac e-Transfer.
What to have ready
- Your order number or the items in your cart
- A screenshot of the PayPal error
- The email address linked to your PayPal account (we don't need the password)
- The country your PayPal account is registered in
