If your cart refuses to add an item, changes quantities by itself, or empties out, it's almost always a session or cookies issue. Here's how to fix it.
Quick fixes
- Refresh the page and try adding the item again.
- Enable cookies in your browser — without cookies, the cart can't remember your items.
- Open a private window and try again.
- On mobile, fully close your browser app and reopen it.
- If the Add to cart button is greyed out, the item is likely out of stock or available by special order only.
If items keep disappearing
This happens when your session expires (after several hours of inactivity) or when you switch devices without being signed in. Sign in to your account before adding to cart so your items are saved.
