Can I return a custom or engraved piece?

Quick answer

No. Custom-made and engraved pieces are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged. They're built to your specifications and can't be resold. The only exception is a manufacturing defect — we'll repair or replace those at no cost.

What counts as custom or engraved

  • Any piece built from your own design or modified spec
  • Bridge or solitaire builds with a stone you chose
  • Engraved rings, pendants, lockets, watches
  • Hand-engraved or laser-engraved pieces
  • Made-to-order sizing in non-stock sizes
  • Resized pieces (we did the resize at your request)

What we will do

  • Defect or our error: free repair, remake or full refund
  • Sizing issue on a custom ring: one free resize within 60 days if the engraving allows
  • Stone loose at delivery: free secure setting, no questions
  • Engraving typo we made: free re-engraving or full remake

What we can't do

  • Refund a correctly engraved piece because of a change of mind
  • Refund a custom build because the recipient doesn't love it
  • Resize an engraved band that can't be sized without damaging the engraving

How to report a defect

  1. Email support@bjamil.com within 14 days of delivery with photos
  2. We'll diagnose within 1 business day and arrange a prepaid pickup
  3. Repair or replacement turnaround is typically 7–14 business days

What to have ready

  • Order number
  • Clear photos of the issue (multiple angles)
  • Description of what's wrong
