Common reasons the amount differs
- Original shipping fee is not refunded on change-of-mind returns (we refund it for damaged or wrong items)
- Discount or promo was applied at checkout, so the refund reflects the discounted price
- Restocking fee for partial returns from a multi-piece order at a tier discount (rare)
- Currency exchange — if you paid in USD via PayPal, the refund converts at the day-of-refund rate, not the day of purchase
- GST and QST are refunded proportionally
- Resizing or engraving fees added after order are non-refundable
- Gift wrap charge is non-refundable
How we calculate the refund
Original item price (after promo) + GST + QST – any non-refundable services = refund total. Original shipping is added back only for our errors or defects.
How to dispute
- Email support@bjamil.com with:
- Order number
- Amount you expected
- Amount received
- We pull the order detail and reply with a line-by-line breakdown within 1 business day
- If we made an error, we issue the difference within 3 business days
What to have ready
- Order number
- Original order confirmation email
- Refund confirmation email
- Bank or card statement showing the credited amount
