Who pays the return shipping?

Quick answer

We pay if the item arrived damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered. You pay if it's a change of mind, wrong size you ordered, or unwanted gift. Jewellery must always be shipped insured to its full value — that's a hard rule.

When Bijouterie Jamil pays

  • Item arrived damaged or defective
  • We shipped the wrong piece, size or finish
  • Item doesn't match the description on bjamil.com
  • First size exchange within 30 days (we cover one round trip)

In these cases, we email you a prepaid, insured Purolator or Canada Post label.

When you pay

  • Change of mind
  • You ordered the wrong size (after the first free size exchange)
  • Unwanted gift return
  • You preferred a different style

Expect $25–$80 CAD in Canada depending on declared value and destination, plus insurance. Always declare the full retail value at the counter — under-insured parcels will not be reimbursed if lost.

How to ship a return safely

  1. Use Purolator or Canada Post Xpresspost
  2. Declare the full retail value for insurance
  3. Hand to a counter agent (never drop in a mailbox)
  4. Keep the receipt until the refund is processed
  5. Send the tracking number to support@bjamil.com

What to have ready

  • Order number
  • Photos of the issue (if claiming damage)
  • Shipping receipt with insurance value
  • Tracking number
